Interested in becoming a REACT Member, but afraid you won't know what to say or do? Don't worry, we are here for you! Our REACT Academy will equip you to comfort people in crisis. You will learn from licensed counselors what helps and what doesn't.
Once you complete the Academy and pass a background check, you have the option to join our team. But don't worry, you're still not on your own! We meet monthly to continue to strengthen our skills. You will also be teamed up with a seasoned REACT member who will mentor you along the way.
All of our sessions will be at the Weatherford Police Department and dinner is provided. There is no cost for the class. All of our wonderful speakers volunteer their time and expertise for this academy. Read below to learn more about each session.
